1) I think that he knows he has pushed the wave a little too far now. He realizes that maybe he should have been a little more careful, and planned the wave better. I can relate to how he feels though, because sometimes you cant just make something stop on a dime and end right there and then. I bet the Grapevine is not making him feel any better because of what Laurie wrote.
2) " But Laurie, the boy is Jewish, do you think that could have anything to do with this?" (pg. 92) I picked this quote because it showed that the wave is really turning into something like the Nazis, and that it is really out of control and needs to be stopped. I dont think that the Wave is really excluding people because of race or religion, but it might grow to that if it isnt stopped.
3) Do you think Laurie's newspaper article caused a positive or negative affect on the wave? How might this affect the outcome of the book?

I agree with you. I think Ben should have planned the wave better and told the students not to be so aggressive.
I think Lauries article had a negative affect on the wave. people are angry at her.

2. I don't think the WAVE will grow to religion or race either I think it will just grow to WAVE and non WAVE members. I think that the WAVE members like they already are will segregate against non WAVE members.
3. I think that this news paper like it was supposed to caused a negative inergy on the WAVE and thats why the WAVE members were so mad and wanted her to stop because this would cause people to drop out and not join the WAVE.
2)i agree its not a thing with religion and what people believe in but there are threatening the kids who don't join
3)well i think it really brought some anger in some of the kids i dont think it will i think it will very much just build more anger
