Question: What advice would you give to a particular character? Why?
The first character I would give advice to is the main character's father, King Roland. The reason why is because his advisor is trying to KILL him and he doesnt suspect a thing. He is afraid of Flagg (his advisor) because he is a powerful maigician, and he is afraid that Fagg will do something terrible to him. I would tell him to kick Fagg out of the palace or banish him so he cant come back. If it were me, I would have gotten rid of him before he tries to kill me.But thats just me. (and lots of other people who value their life)
The next person i would give advice to is the main character, who is also foolish. He doesnt realize that he is being plotted against. The entire story is beginning to unfold around Flagg, and not in a good way. Flagg wants to make Peter's little brother, Thomas, king. The reason for this is Thomas is one of those people who is easily influenced, and not very bright. The perfect choice for an evil henchman. I would tell Peter to speak out against Flagg, but he, like his father, is scared of being killed or injured. OR WORSE...... But part of having courage is being able to do things that you're scared of, no matter what.
This book is very good and i roccomend it to all!!! (380 pages so its kinda long, but nowhere near the longest ive read which is like 715 for Lirael (not sure how its spelled but i think its right...) by Garth Nix)
